Chef UbaldoLESS TALK. LET'S COOK.

Your browser preferences

Cookies and local data.

Last updated: 21 October 2026.

Chef Ubaldo uses technical storage necessary for sign-in and site preferences. We have not added advertising or traffic analytics tools to the site's code.

Google sign-in and Firebase

Firebase Authentication stores your authentication state and the technical credentials needed to maintain it in your browser, using mechanisms provided by the SDK and browser (such as IndexedDB and local storage). The duration depends on remaining signed in, signing out, revoking credentials and browser settings. Google may use its own cookies on sign-in screens and to protect authentication.

Credentials prove your identity. Conversations have separate identifiers and are stored in the backend: the access token is not used as a conversation identifier.

Theme and media playback

Your theme preference is stored locally under the key ubaldo-color-theme, until you change it or clear site data. Temporary video rotation state may be stored in the browser session to avoid repetitions. Media is loaded from the site; no YouTube or other advertising players are embedded.

How to manage them

You can sign out using the Sign out button. You can also clear or block site data in your browser settings; blocking technical storage may prevent sign-in or cause preferences to be lost. Clearing browser data does not delete data stored in your account: to do that, use My account.

We do not request optional consent through a banner for strictly necessary technologies. If we introduce tools requiring consent in the future, we will activate them only after the user has made a choice.

To learn who manages your data, about the providers and your rights, read theprivacy notice.

Recipe image request status

When you request an image, sessionStorage can temporarily retain the request identifier, separated by account and recipe. This lets the page check an uncertain outcome without starting another generation. It contains neither the image nor the recipe text. The identifier is removed when the outcome is confirmed; the browser normally clears sessionStorage when its tab session ends.
